6 Nov 2009Yesterday, California courts ordered Sanford Wallace to pay compensation of U.S. $ 177 million or approximately Rp1, 77 trillion to Facebook because it proved to bombard the site with junk mail.
Wallace was known as ‘Spam King’ because he often bombarded websites with junk mail or wall posts to the Facebook members account without permission. This has damaged assessed Facebook site. “We won again in the battle against spammers,” the statement Facebook.
Jeremy Fogel, District Court of California, also bars Wallace and anyone who affiliated with Wallace to access Facebook. Wallace is also preparing to jail for this was not the first time he did.
